On the road to the NZ Crane Conference (CANZ)

Leaving the Port of Auckland and travelling to Hamilton, Pollock Cranes are transporting Nikau Group‘s newest addition to their fleet, a new Grove GMK6300L-1 300t All Terrain Crane.

This payload is 72t and 18.2m long. This crane is on its way to TRT for certification and then to display at the Crane Association of New Zealand (Inc.) – (CANZ) conference before it gets to work on NZ Infrastructure projects.

Pollock Crane’s trailer is a new 2021 TRT ESS Modular Platform Trailer, configured as an 8×8 low loader, with two of three 4×8 axle modules being used together.

The maneuverability of TRT’s patented ESS steering system is seen with all axles steering easily through Auckland’s bustling Mount Eden and then onto the Southern Motorway to Hamilton.
